COMMANDER HOTEL BOARDWALK CABARET Ocean City, Maryland 1979 The Classic, Vintage Album! Ocean City, Maryland?s famous Commander Hotel has anchored the Boardwalk at 13th Street since the early days of the seaside town. In 1976, the Commander Hotel owner, John Lynch, redecorated what was up until then known as the Chart Room. He had a vision for a Cabaret stage show for his multitude of dinner guests. In 1979, the Commander Boardwalk Cabaret was an innovative idea and Ocean City?s only full-scale dinner theater. These sleeved, vinyl Albums of the Commander Hotel?s Cabaret singers were just recently discovered. The albums are vintage 1979 and feature some singers who are still on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. If you?re from Ocean City, Maryland or the Eastern Shore, the cast might tickle you! And if you spent summers on ?the boards? with your family in the late 1970?s, you?ll want to grab this treasure! This album is impeccable. It is still in its original shrink-wrap! The solid, artistic cardboard cover holds the ?33? in its fresh and intact paper sleeve. Listen to the old favorites in camp musical comedy on the O.C. Boardwalk in 1979. Bop to beats like ?Beauty School Drop-out? and ?I?m Getting Married in the Morning.? A genuine, rare find from when Ocean City was just discovering the word ?condominium.? A piece of Ocean City?s re-minted history in song and dance! Un-flawed, un-opened, un-played. It just doesn?t get any finer than this!
